With a career spanning more than two decades in media, Chris also works as a trusted newsreader and journalist for Times Radio, BBC Local Radio, ITV News and various independent broadcasters. His voice is a familiar one across the UK and the world, having also built a successful career as a voiceover artist through CD Voiceovers, where he provides narration, explainer videos and radio imaging for clients worldwide.
Chris brings a unique combination of editorial insight, on-air performance expertise and commercial acumen, drawing on his early experience in corporate sales and marketing. This blend helps him guide businesses, councils, charities and creators through every stage of the podcasting journey...from strategy and scripting to production, editing and promotion.
He is also a lecturer in broadcast and digital journalism at the University of Brighton, mentoring the next generation of multimedia journalists and content creators. His academic interests include hyperlocal journalism, audience engagement and the role of podcasting in sustainable media.
