These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of podcasting services by Nobis Media Ltd T/A The Podcast Studio (“we”, “us” or “our”) to you, the client (“you” or “your”). By booking our services, you agree to these terms in full.
1. Service Overview
The Podcast Studio provides remote podcast production services, including the provision of a professional podcast host and the facilitation of remote video podcast recordings using platforms such as Zoom or Riverside.fm (where selected).
We offer both bespoke podcast services and fixed monthly plans designed around remote recording and production.
2. Ownership and Copyright
All raw and edited podcast recordings, including video and audio files, remain the property of you, the client, upon full payment.
We retain no claim of ownership over the content unless otherwise agreed in writing.
You are granted full rights to use, publish, edit or distribute the final media across platforms of your choice.
We reserve the right to use brief extracts (up to 30 seconds) of your published episodes for our portfolio, marketing or promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing.
3. Payment Terms
- All services are pre-pay only, unless a prior agreement has been made in writing.
- Invoices must be paid before any recording or editing work begins.
- Late payments may result in delays or cancellation of scheduled sessions.
- All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Coupon codes valid for various discounts may be offered from time-to-time
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled session will be rescheduled at no additional cost.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the session may incur a charge of up to 50% of the session fee.
- Sessions rescheduled due to technical issues on our end will be rebooked at no extra cost to you.
- If we need to reschedule for operational or technical reasons, we’ll provide as much notice as possible and work with you to rearrange.
- Refunds for project cancellations (after payment but before delivery) will be considered on a case-by-case basis, minus any time already spent.
5. Monthly Plans
As of 1 June 2025, we offer three monthly service tiers. All packages are based on one podcast series of six consecutive monthly bookings hosted and recorded remotely.
Monthly Essential – £300/month
- Scripting help
- Remote recording set-up
- 2 × 30-min recording sessions/month
- Basic audio editing
- Intro and outro recording
- Basic image design per episode
- Basic show notes
- 2 × social media posts per episode
- 1 × 30-sec video clip per episode
Monthly Growth – £600/month
Includes everything in Essential, plus:
- 4 × 30-min recording sessions
- Advanced audio editing
- Custom image design per episode
- Extended show notes
- 12 × social media posts per month
- 2 × 45-sec video clips per episode
- Guest preparation support
Monthly Authority – £1,200/month
Includes everything in Growth, plus:
- Up to 60-min episodes
- Full scripting and storyboarding support
- On-location or in-studio recording (where agreed)
- Audiogram clips for podcast platforms
- Weekly performance insights and consultancy
- Email newsletter content
- Priority scheduling
6. Delivery and Timelines
Final files are delivered via a secure download link (Google Drive, Dropbox or similar).
Standard delivery for edited episodes is 5 working days from the date of recording, unless otherwise agreed.
7. Technical Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and functioning microphone and camera for remote recordings.
We are not liable for poor recording quality caused by your equipment, environment or connection.
8. Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously and comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- We collect only the data necessary to provide our services (e.g. contact info, payment details and podcast assets).
- Your data is stored securely and never sold or shared with third parties without your consent, unless required by law.
- You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us.
9. Client Conduct
To ensure a productive and respectful working environment:
- You agree to arrive promptly for all sessions and be prepared with any required materials.
- We do not tolerate abusive, offensive or discriminatory language or behaviour in any form.
- We reserve the right to terminate services without refund if inappropriate conduct occurs.
- All content you provide must comply with UK laws, including those relating to copyright, defamation and hate speech.
10. Limitation of Liability
We strive to deliver a professional and reliable service. However, we are not responsible for:
- Technical faults caused by third-party platforms (e.g. Zoom, Riverside)
- Client-side failures (e.g. equipment issues or unstable connections)
- Any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income or reputation
Our liability is strictly limited to the total value of the services you have paid for.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be handled under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
